Cookie Policy
Last updated: December 13, 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how Sigmoda uses cookies and similar technologies (like local storage) on our website and product. If you have questions, contact support@sigmoda.com.
1) What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Some are required for core features (like staying signed in). Others help remember preferences or improve security. Similar technologies include local storage (which stores small pieces of data in your browser).
2) How Sigmoda uses them
- Essential authentication: we use an HTTP-only cookie (for example, access_token) to keep you signed in and protect authenticated requests. Disabling cookies may prevent login and dashboard access.
- Preferences: we store lightweight preferences (for example, your theme) using local storage so the UI stays consistent between visits.
- Security and abuse prevention: we use rate limiting and captcha verification to protect signup/login and sensitive actions. Providers (for example, Cloudflare Turnstile) may set their own cookies or browser storage as part of that protection.
- Payments: if you purchase a paid plan, Stripe may set cookies on its own domains to process checkout and prevent fraud. Those cookies are governed by Stripe’s policies.
3) Your choices
- You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or restrict).
- If you delete or block essential cookies, you may need to sign in again (or may not be able to use the product).
- You can clear local storage in your browser to reset preferences (like theme).
